Hope Dachshunds
Thank you for your visit. If you're searching for a Miniature Dachshund, you've come to a very special place.
Marilyn has been raising dachshunds for more than 40 years. She raises Miniature Smooth and Miniature Wirehaired Dachshunds, and she is an AKC Dachshund breeder-judge. The purpose of her program is to improve the breed, in both structure and temperament.
She doesn't always have puppies available, but you can get a pet from her.
Let me help you out.
We never share your information
First, you may notice I didn't ask for your email address just to see the website. If at some point we do exchange emails or phone numbers, we do not share or sell your information to anyone, for any reason.
No deposit, ever
Second, we never take a deposit for an animal. You will not pay anything until you see, hold, and love the dog.
Marilyn will always take the dog back
Third, and this is a big one: if you ever cannot care for the dog, Marilyn will take it back. You will not get any money back, but the dog will be cared for, retrained if needed, and rehomed — or we will keep, love, and care for the dog ourselves. It is up to you to get the dog back to her.
Call her — there's no waiting list
Fourth, Marilyn really doesn't keep a list, so you must call her. She does not sell to brokers or resellers. When you call to find out whether she has puppies, she will tell you what she has now and what is coming up, so you will have time to make travel arrangements. You will be invited to our home to see for yourself how we care for the dachshunds, and you'll have the opportunity to meet your puppy's parents, so you can actually see how your puppy will mature.
Lastly, if you've read this far, you have figured out that Marilyn is not doing this for the money. She loves her dogs and her dog people.
The number at the top is real. So are we.
